| Neil and Deborah Winkley
came to Blackpool in 2003 and consider this to be one of the
best decisions they have ever made. They love the place! |
| Previously they enjoyed
many years as special needs teachers - Deb speaks sign language,
Neil was invited to the House Of Commons to be given an award
for his contribution to charity work. |
| Neil has also been a
Police Officer and milkman as well as having a brief spell as
a musician in the Army. |
| Deb has been an auxiliary
nurse, cook and bookmakers clerk. |
| They are both passionate
about music, Neil has played in many bands both singing and
on guitar. Deb cannot sing for toffee but plays the drums and
is handy with a screwdriver. |
| Neil is an experienced
DJ amd has one of the most varied selections of music you will
come across, from rock to drum 'n' base, George Formby to Music
Hall, Disco to Café Jazz, he will always have something
you like. |
| Since arriving in Blackpool their
enthusiasm has resulted in improving the, already good, quality
of the hotel to Silver HOAST accreditation. Notably they have
been accredited with a Three Diamond rating from the English
Tourism Council, the first in the Foxhall area. |

Neil
and Deborah |
| In addition their interest
in environmental issues promted them to join the Blackpool Blue
Skies project and have already reached bronze standard. |
| They are members of
the Blackpool Premier Hotels Association and Neil has recently
been elected to the executive committee. |
| The Winkley's have two
sons - both incredibly handsome of course. John lives with them
and works I the leisure industry here in Blackpool. David lives
in Manchester and is developing a career in sales. |
| So now you know a little bit about
your hosts - the rest you can find out when you visit - most
importantly they eagerly await to meet you and enjoy your company. |
